About Me

Hi, I’m Denise. Decorating has always been a passion for me. As a teenager I constantly asked my parents if I could paint or redesign my room in some fashion. There began my excitement for decorating and design. Although I contemplated interior design as a career, I took the more conventional path by joining the corporate world. I worked in the financial services/investment arena for more than 30 years, beginning as an individual contributor and navigating my way through various stages of management to a director role, leading over 100 support staff and their managers. Looking for a change, I spent the last five years of my career as a Human Resources Business Partner bridging the gap between the people side of the business and the business itself. During this time I channeled my passion into designing my own home and helping friends realize their vision. I made the decision to say goodbye to corporate America and pursue my real passion, becoming an HSR Certified Professional Home Stager and Redesigner, as well as a Certified Color Expert.
